To stimulate a broad-ranging conversation about our scholarly information environment, the Information Management program invites distinguished experts to deliver guest lectures during the academic year.
The Information Futures Forums are open to staff and interested students of the University.
Many of these events are recorded. Whenever possible the video, audio and presentation slides are made available on this web site.
The Information Futures Forum series began in 2005 under the direction of Ms Nicki McLaurin Smith, then the Director of Information Management at the University of Melbourne. The 2008 series was co-hosted by the Information Futures Commission and the Information Management program. The forums will continue in 2009 under the auspices of the current Director of Information Management, Ms Donna McRostie.
