External Reviewers
An international panel of External Reviewers will act as critical expert advisers to the work of the Commission by:
- Critiquing the final draft of the Consultation Paper;
- Participating in the blog, if time permits;
- Presenting to the Steering Committee, Expert Panel and/or broader community either in person or via videoconference if time differences permit;
- Critiquing the final draft of the University’s Scholarly Information Futures Strategy.
Membership
Mr Richard N Katz is Vice President of EDUCAUSE and the Founding Director of ECAR, the EDUCAUSE Center for Applied Research. He is based in Colorado, USA. Richard was the guest speaker at the first Information Futures Forum for 2008.
Dame Lynne Brindley is Chief Executive of the British Library. Appointed in 2000, she is the first woman and the first information professional to have held the post. Lynne came to the British Library from the University of Leeds where she was Pro-Vice-Chancellor. Previously she was a senior consultant with KPMG and has held leadership positions in information technology and knowledge management at Aston University and at the London School of Economics.
Mr Michael A Keller is
University Librarian at Stanford University, California, USA. Michael is also
Director of Academic Information Resources and publisher of HighWire Press and of Stanford University Press.
